Frequently Asked Questions

How do I download my license from Amazing Music Tracks after I purchase it?

After you purchase a cue and payment was successful, the license and download link will be available on your account page in the my downloads section.

Can I get a version without the voiceover?

Yes! The file you download after purchasing a license will not have the voiceover. The voiceover is simply used on the preview as a watermark. Please make sure you are listening to the version you purchased, because the file names will be similar.

My purchase has a small extra fee added. Why?

The price of the cue does not reflect the small fee added by Paypal processing and purchases with a debit card.

I received a copyright infringement notice from YouTube that my music from Amazing Music Tracks belongs to a third party. Why did this happen and what can I do?

What You Need To Know:

• Any music tracks that you purchase from Amazing Music Tracks are licensed for use across all media types, including YouTube & Social Media.

• In order to prevent fraud and piracy, YouTube has created a Content ID system that automatically analyzes and matches music to the attributed rights holder. This ID also catches some royalty-free content.

• Whenever YouTube raises a claim after identifying music within a video, they also include an option for the video creator to file a dispute.

What To Do If Your Video Is Claimed by Content ID:

• Please follow YouTube’s video creator dispute process and indicate that you have purchased the necessary rights to use the content by including your receipt and a link to our royalty-free license.

• You can download a copy of your receipt from the My Downloads & Licenses page or the My Orders page.

If you need additional assistance, please do not hesitate to email us at support@amazingmusictracks.com.

Please Include In Your Email:

• Invoice/Order ID:

• Track Name

• A link to your YouTube video. Please check that your video is not set to private, unlisted is okay

• The name of the company that has raised a claim or a screenshot of the claim. Ex: AdRev

Why won’t my download start? Why is my download so slow?

The problem could be a general internet outage in your area or it might be your personal internet connection. Please try restarting your modem and then download again! If you are still unable to download your tracks, please email us at support@amazingmusictracks.com.

How does a royalty free license work?

In short, you only pay once and can reuse that piece of music as often as you like as long as the additional uses are within the scope of the license purchased. If you would like to use the piece of music in a different "enhanced" license manner, you will have to purchase the enhanced license.

It is important to note that if your project will be broadcast on TV, or in a film or radio program, you must fill out a cue sheet which lists the writer and publisher information for the music used in your project. Performance royalties are almost always paid by the broadcaster, meaning the TV network or theater owner. If you are unsure if your project/s falls under the scope of public performance, please email us at support@amazingmusictracks.com.

Please also note that even though our music is royalty free, it is not copyright free. Please contact us with any questions.

How am I permitted to use the music I licensed from Amazing Music Tracks?

You are free to use the music you have licensed in any project as long as it is within the scope of the original license you have purchased.

WE OFFER TWO LICENSING OPTIONS:

Standard License

The standard license provides international use of the purchased track for many common uses including: website videos, corporate videos, and all non-commercial projects, including up to 1,000 units of a project intended to generate income to you.

This license can be used for an unlimited number of these types of projects in perpetuity and is included with a purchase of a Enhanced License.

Enhanced License

The enhanced license is for advertising in a single territory on TV, radio, in theatres, points of sale, and industrial events. Additionally, it includes unlimited distribution worldwide for projects intended to generate income.

This license is to be used for a single project in perpetuity.

Please go to our license page for further details. If you are unsure of which license is right for your needs, please email us at support@amazingmusictracks.com.

What about cue sheets and public performance rights?

You will only need to fill out a cue sheet if your project will be broadcast publicly, i.e. on TV, radio, advertisements and in film/theatrical productions of any scale. A cue sheet needs to be filled out in one of these types of situations to ensure that the composer is fairly compensated.

If you are unsure about where your project falls under the scope of public performance, please contact your local Performance Rights Organization (PRO). If you need the writer and publisher info for the track/s you are using, please contact us at support@amazingmusictracks.com.

Do I own the music after I buy it?

No. You do not own the music after purchasing a license. The composer owns the copyright to the music. Purchasing a license only allows you to use the music solely for your projects and within the confines of the license terms.

Can I remix or add additional production to an Amazing Music Tracks cue and sell it?

This is not permitted and would be copyright infringement. While all of our music is royalty-free, it is still copyright protected. The music on our site cannot be used to produce another piece of music, sold as your own, or resold as a musical product in any form. Even if the track is edited and additional instruments or vocals are added, it would be considered a “derivative work” and this is not allowed.

Can I use Amazing Music Tracks music in a larger audio project like a podcast, audiobook, or meditation recording?

Yes, however the audio-only end product must be different in nature and larger in scope than the music itself. A good rule to follow would be that the primary value of the end product must not be the music alone, and should have speech overlayed or interspersed throughout. The music track can never be distributed as-is or with superficial modifications.

Am I allowed to monetize clips on YouTube that include music from Amazing Music Tracks?

Yes. However, make sure to select the appropriate license for your intended use. The primary value of the end product cannot be the music itself, and the music cannot be distributed as-is or with superficial modifications.

Can I return a music track and get a refund?

After you have purchased and downloaded a music track, Amazing Music Tracks cannot give a refund unless a malfunction has occurred.

What is a custom mix?

A custom mix is a specialized version of the piece of music which emphasizes one or two of the elements, for example, the orchestra or the guitar. Included in the category of custom mixes are ‘minus mixes’ and ‘alt mixes’.

What is a stem?

A stem is either an individual instrument or a grouping of similar instruments that are a part of the full track separated out into their own audio files. An example of a complete set of stems for a rock band might be all of the guitars, all of the keyboards, and the drums and bass. When stems are available, the piece of music has much more flexibility for editors to use in conjunction with visual media.

What is the full mix of the track?

A full mix is the complete piece of music with all the instruments included.

What file format should I use?

The file format you should use depends on your project and what software you’re using. For television or radio broadcast, DVDs, or CDs you would likely need to use high quality .WAV or .AIFF files. However, if file size is a concern, you might need to use the .MP3 version of your file. The exact specifications of download options are as follows: 320kbit/s .mp3 - 48 kHz, 16 bit .WAV - 48 kHz, 16 bit .AIFF

How do I know the size of my broadcast audience?

If you are using a music track in a broadcast project, ask your client or producer what their intended audience size is for the production, meaning the maximum number of people the broadcast has the potential to reach. As a general rule of thumb, an audience size up to 1 million tends to be more for local and hyper-targeted broadcasts, 1-10 million is more on the regional-to-national scale, and above 10 million is typical for national and international broadcasts. Please note this may vary depending on your location and target market. In some places, this audience size measure is similar to the broadcast DMA.
